Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News' Matt Finn that no one was arrested and no one remains in custody following an operation in Tucson conducted Friday in connection to the Nancy Guthrie case.
Sources told Fox News Digital that at least three people had been detained in connection to a search warrant conducted at a residence in Tucson late Friday about two miles from Guthrie's home. Photos gave a partial view of one man handcuffed and detained in the parking lot of a Culver's restaurant nearby in connection to the search warrant, but no charges were confirmed.
Authorities have not named any suspects or persons of interest two weeks since 84-year-old Guthrie vanished from her Tucson home on Feb. 1.

It is possible this guy is a 3rd party contractor. If so, he didn't get very good info. Other than the video clip, we don't know what went on after that

Interesting, but positing the motive as being notoriety alone leaves an unsettling feeling.
I wonder if a relative fell upon hard times (such as a job loss or gambling debt) and felt compelled to take out a loan from a local loan shark. The relative then fell behind on interest payments to the loan shark. The loan shark became frustrated and put out a limited contract, but not on the relative, but on Nancy.
inside information on the interior security cameras could have been found by bribing a cleaning lady, a security camera installer, or other service person.

This story was right after the Epstein files dropped.Savannah Guthrie had done some serious interviews with Epstein victims I believe? She may know a lot more than most, and what if she wanted to speak out? It’s pretty clear mainstream media is not addressing the depraved horrors and abuse and worse of children. Some journalists might actually feel a burning need to speak up.
And her husband worked for the Clintons, I think? Did someone want her quieted? If so, any other journalist with a soul will be discouraged from speaking out, as they too have loved ones. Just speculating because this case is not usual even for a kidnap.

But only one was famous and it is still remembered today, the kidnapping and murder of Lindbergh’s infant son.
And that’s entirely due to Lindbergh being an international celebrity for his solo flight across the Atlantic.
