The former White House counsel under President Obama has resigned from Goldman Sachs over her ties to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Kathryn Ruemmler, who works as general counsel at Goldman, said she will resign this summer after emails released by the Justice Department revealed her conversations with Epstein, according to The Financial Times.
'I made the determination that the media attention on me, relating to my prior work as a defense attorney, was becoming a distraction,' Ruemmler told the publication.
She will exit the firm on June 30.
Ruemmler rose to the top ranks at Wall Street and became a key adviser to Solomon following a storied legal career, which included serving as White House counsel to former President Barack Obama, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Executives at the firm had previously claimed that Ruemmler had a strictly professional relationship with the financier, as she argued she never represented Epstein or advocated for him - though he would occasionally ask for her advice.
She has said she regretted ever knowing Epstein and had no knowledge of any new or ongoing illegal activity.
'I made decisions based on the information that was available to me,' she told the Financial Times. 'I have an enormous amount of sympathy and heartache for anyone he hurt.'
But the latest release of Epstein files shows Ruemmler hailing 'wonderful Jeffrey' in emails dated December 25 and 26, 2015, six years after he served 13 months in prison prostituting an underage girl.
She was even in the courtroom when Epstein was arraigned on sex trafficking charges in 2019, and he once even listed her as a backup executor of his will.
Their relationship apparently began around the time Ruemmler left the Obama administration in 2014.

As nearly two dozen Secret Service agents and members of the military were punished or fired following a 2012 prostitution scandal in Colombia, Obama administration officials repeatedly denied that anyone from the White House was involved.
But new details drawn from government documents and interviews show that senior White House aides were given information at the time suggesting that a prostitute was an overnight guest in the hotel room of a presidential advance-team member — yet that information was never thoroughly investigated or publicly acknowledged.
The information that the Secret Service shared with the White House included hotel records and firsthand accounts — the same types of evidence the agency and military relied on to determine who in their ranks was involved.
The Secret Service shared its findings twice in the weeks after the scandal with top White House officials, including then-White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler. Each time, she and other presidential aides conducted an interview with the advance-team member and concluded that he had done nothing wrong. . .

According to court records made public by the Southern District of New York on Tuesday, disgraced elitist pedophile Jeffrey Epstein introduced Kathryn Ruemmler, an attorney for the Obama White House, and staffers of JPMorgan Chase in 2019.
The bank was contacted by Epstein’s financial assistant, who suggested Ruemmler as a client, which the bank accepted despite having previously dropped Epstein as a client because of “red flags.”
After serving as Obama’s longest-serving White House general counsel, Ruemmler later went on to take the position of general counsel at Goldman Sachs.
The report was released in response to a lawsuit filed by the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands against JPMorgan for allegedly aiding Epstein in the sex trafficking of minors to the Virgin Islands.
The court documents claim JPMorgan processed many wire transfers from Epstein to several women and allege the bank failed to adequately investigate the Democrat insider’s dubious past.
Just last month, the bank settled a legal dispute in the Southern District of New York, paying the accusations of Epstein $290 million because the bank had covered up the billionaire’s sexual abuse.
The U.S. Virgin Islands government allegedly assisted Epstein’s trafficking network, according to JPMorgan’s defense.
The lawsuit claims that the well-connected financier offered money and favors in exchange for immunity to high-ranking Virgin Islands government officials.
After being abruptly sacked in December 2022, the Virgin Islands’ Attorney General, Denise George, admitted under testimony that Epstein had “political influence over or with the Governor” of the Caribbean territory. . .

A Lebanese-American businessman and key “witness” in the special counsel’s investigation of Russian election interference was arrested and charged Monday with transporting a dozen images of child pornography and bestiality.
George Nader, 60, was arrested Monday morning at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, according to federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia. Nader was involved in several key meetings at the center of the special counsel’s Trump/Russia investigation and his name shows up more than 100 times in the Mueller report.
Throughout the investigation, Nader was represented by Kathryn Ruemmler, Obama’s long-term White House Counsel/fixer. . .
In March of 2018, the New York Observer’s Sidney Powell detailed Ruemmler’s involvement in the Trump/Russia hoax in the Daily Caller.
According to Powell, Ruemmler, along with former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Obama’s former counter-terrorism and homeland security adviser Lisa Monaco, were “central to the Obama White House arm of the conspiracy to surveil the Trump campaign, the phony FISA warrant, ‘unmaskings’ of Americans in the Trump campaign and denials of information to the incoming president of the United States.”

The Fifth Circuit reversed 12 out of 14 counts of conviction.

Have to confess, I totally misjudged the critical necessity of releasing the Epstein files.
The crazy tuff coming out of the Epstein files expose our self proclaimed “elite” for what they truly are.

True but the list of people he targeted is skewed left. Why is another question probably involving a lot of factors but the left fell to his “charms” way more.
