There was that article the other day where the guy said the question to be asking about AI is “where is the ceiling?” I’m starting to agree with the position that we’re probably underestimating how capable it’s going to be and how much it’s going to change things.

The thing is, the market’s expectations is that companies will reduce headcount, so they will put a lot of pressure on companies getting rid of employees, to take advantage of AI, and if they don’t do it, the market will punish them.

Energy usage. Musk is already building one that will use gigawatts. Maybe it will solve the problem of making fusion power viable. Maybe it will calculate that will always remain an impossible dream . The other limitation is almost done. The scale of Semiconductors is down to the scale of 20 silicon atoms wide circuits . We are nearly at the bottom now .
