We see exponential growth in many things. Eventually it becomes so large that it becomes bounded by natural limitations. Apparently this limitation is energy. These computers consume massive amounts of energy. The other limitation is semiconductors. It takes a lot of time and effort to make them. Unless these machines find another way process information this is the chains weakest link.
