Agreed. Those AI customer service chatbots are useless. But those businesses don’t care. They just don’t want us to call them. They want us to download an app to our phones and never call. Remember when phones were meant for calling people?
Agreed. They are part of the wall they put up to avoid performing any real customer service.
I have accounts at Capital One and they don’t even have a customer service email address. Ditto for Republic Bank. They tell you to call but wait times are lengthy and I can’t a person that I can understand. It’s like they are all in South America. Much more than Indian now. Because of my hearing I have had to go so far as to threaten making complants to the feds under the ADA to get a native English speaker.
Ditto. Absolutely useless. I have started timing how long it takes to get a human on the line while having to put up with that robot BS. It’s averaging FOUR MINUTES of seriously infuriating aggravation to get to somebody who can help.
