Millions of NFL fans switched off Bad Bunny to tune into Turning Point USA's 'All-American' Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night.
The NFL polarized fans with its decision to choose the Puerto Rican rapper and his Spanish-only songs for the big game in San Francisco, and many voted with their fingers to turn off NBC and load up YouTube and Rumble instead.
Kid Rock headlined the alternative MAGA halftime show, with Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett also performing.
The initial plan was for the show to also be broadcast on X, but that was thrown into chaos just minutes before it was due to start and the stream was pulled.
In a statement, Turning Point USA said: 'UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to stream The All-American Halftime Show on X. Head on over to our YouTube channel tonight around 8PM ET to watch the full show.'
And that's exactly what many fans did, with the stream peaking at over a remarkable 5 million viewers midway through the show.
he show started with the host claiming 'this one's for you Charlie', honoring Turning Point USA's late founder Charlie Kirk, who was murdered in September.
A rocky rendition of the Stars and Stripes was then aired to viewers' delight, with the stream count climbing to over 3 million fans watching 'Real America' in action.

Next year Turning Point’s promotional message should be “to be broadcast in English.”
My team (Bears) didn’t make it, so I didn’t watch the game. I almost never do. I even watched the commercials the day before on YouTube. The only ones I saw noteworthy were the Budweiser Clysedales and the Xfinity Jurassic Park commercial. That one was cleverly done.

I was on a business trip for the past week. My wife was able to join me. We spent the entire day driving and got home just after the TPUSA show began. We turned it on and enjoyed it, then unpacked the truck.
I care so little about football I didn’t even know who was playing and still don’t know or care about the outcome.

I watched just enough of the nbc halftime to be disgusted , why does the left applaud obscene hip thrust dancing , the American flag being chased by foreign flags and the gangster culture of pimps, drug dealers, thieves and drive by shootings ?
I then watched the tpusa halftime later and was edified and encouraged and actually entertained.
I watched it on RAV. I would have liked to see a couple of big Country and Western performers, but I guess they opted it would be too political. How Goodell could have given the production over to J ZEE, should get him fired, which will never happen.
I would imagine the halftime advertisers care whether millions of viewers leave to watch something else.
I noticed that John Schneider (Jonathan Kent on Smallville, and one of the Duke Boys) and his wife elected to post a video of themselves OUTSIDE of the halftime ‘show’ while it was on, rather than subject themselves to the audio abuse of the performance.
Bunnyman’s dancers should have been in much tighter outfits so that the crowd could enjoy the jigglee bits better.

JZ is not booking the show. He is Goodall’s fall guy. the patsy that takes the brunt of the expected pushback from the anti-American show.

Gooddall believes The Super Bowl should have as many viewers as The Champions League Final, and wants to enhance the Super Bowl’s global presence.
No Doubt. Has the effect of making American football global and less American. Once they accomplish that, the league won’t need Americfan viewers anymore.
I switched over to an episode of Three’s Company. Always good for a chuckle.
My wife and I were streaming the replay of the US-Sweden mixed doubles curling event. Much more entertaining! Football is dead to me.

Sadly, Goodell has the full faith and trust of the NFL owners for a couple reasons: (1) the older ownership families dating from the Rozelle era and earlier have been made very rich under Goodell’s management; and (2) the new ownership groups wouldn’t have been allowed to buy in without Goodell’s approval (i.e., they owe him).
Goodell is and has always been a limo liberal. His dad was a left-leaning GOP congreassman... who was defeated for a NY senate seat in 1970 by the legendary Conservative Party candidate Jim Buckley (the more down-to-earth, plain-spoken brother of William F. Jr.)
