Olive Garden cook commits suicide after dunking head into searing hot deep fryer: cops

An Olive Garden cook has died after he dunked his own head into a searing hot deep fryer — as his co-workers frantically tried to thwart his gruesome suicide, authorities said.

The employee, who hasn’t been identified, stripped his clothes off and thrust his face into the fryer at the chain’s restaurant in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, last Friday afternoon, the Smoking Gun reported.

“A male victim went head first into the fryers,” dispatchers could be heard saying in grim 911 audio.

“I don’t have a lot of details, lot of people screaming, some kind of a burn victim,” another operator could be heard saying.

The cook was rushed a nearby hospital to be treated for his severe burns, but he later died from his injuries, authorities said.

THAT! Sometime in the '90's a Seattle college kid later found to be UI of LSD and MDMA 'killed himself' by repeatedly "diving" (as if into water) into a street gutter-curb. He just kept doing it over and over, oblivious to the pain. He eventually succumbed to head trauma and later died. -Drugs are bad m-kay?

A young man where I worked was in a six person work cell. All around one large table. He told the other workers his girlfriend’s dad had taken away his girlfriend because he didn’t like how he treated her. He planned on going that night to kill the father. If it didn’t work, he’d pour gasoline over himself and light it as he thought that would be a “good way to go.” The attempt to kill the dad failed. He got a bucket, filled it with gas at a station and went door to door asking for matches. Someone gave him matches and he went to the ditch by road, poured the gas and lit it. It took him three days to die. (BTW, not a person in the work cell said a word to anyone!)

There were so many things wrong here I just stood staring at the floor supervisor when he told us the story. The company hired a counselor for the “poor workers.” I’d have lectured them on responsibility.

In my working career there were three absolutely lunatic people I thought were capable of anything from self-harm to murder. They’re not common, but they are around. It’s a lesson in keeping alert all the time and listening to what people say. As my mother said, “They’ll tell you how they’re going to treat you or what they’re going to do. It’s up to you to believe them and take appropriate action.”

That sounds like the type of suicide done to (ironically) punish somebody besides the suicide victim.
Similar to some deranged person who sets themselves ablaze to ‘protest the government’.
The burnt one thinks “They’ll be sorry now. Look at what they made me do!! They’ll have to own up to their direct role in my death!”

Unfortunately, that burnt one never seems to understand that the nameless, faceless “Oppressor” does not care about such individuals at all. They may act like they care, for about 15 minutes “Oh No!!”, and then they move on with their usual routines. This (self immolation) is not how one changes Big Government. This seems more like a declaration of weakness and very low self esteem.
