This is really a test of what total, complete tools the mainstream media is. The Dems can say whatever they want to gain political advantage at a certain moment in time and the media lets them act like they never said it in the future. The media wipes the slate clean and makes whatever the Republican says sound evil even if it is exactly what the Democrat said a couple years earlier.
