You need a down coat a lot more than I do. Mom gave me my coat when I lived in Oklahoma. I think I’m wearing it more this winter than the previous 5.
I also had a very pretty knee-length red wool coat, but I gave it too a mission going to Ukraine about 15 years ago. On the rare occasions it was cold enough to wear it, I was pregnant and couldn’t button it.
It's been a real task keeping warm this winter...even in the house...70 does not feel like 70...I boil water to keep the humidity up.
My new long down...bordeaux....coat comes in a couple days. I'm so excited.
