Challenger is one of those terrible events where I think most people know where they were when it happened. I sure do.

I and a coworker were walking through the door at BT’s Gentleman's Club on Michigan Ave. They had a TV on.

It was defiantly a cold day. Great Surf and Turf which justified the $7 dollar a bottle Budweiser. ;)

Me too. I lived down there and I saw almost all of the Space Shuttle launches (night launches were best). But for that particular one I forgot about it and was in a bank. When I came out some guy said, "Hmmp. Wasn't that something?". I looked up at the contrail and it looked odd, but I didn't think too much about it. When I got to the car I turned on the radio and heard it had blown up.
