its zero-emissions power source Gosh that sounds good. But it makes no sense. The vehicle is not a power source. It's electric, and the power source is likely to be coal-power or nuclear power or something like that. This looks like a rich person's status symbol much like the private jets that fly in to Davos.

Just don’t tempt fate and take one between JFK and the MetLife (Pan Am) building rooftop helipad. That didn’t go so well in 1977.

Wow, this is great news for Spacely Sprockets and Cogswell Cogs.

The noise of “mass transit” by that means would be deafening.

It’s not “Jetsons-style” unless it folds up into a thin briefcase that you can walk with into your office.

It can’t be Jetsons style if it has rotor blades, dumbass writer has obviously never seen the cartoon. It is a helicopter style multi rotor vehicle and trying to create ‘excitement’ by comparing it something the people likely to ever use, have no knowledge of is stupid.

So when it crashes, you have a 100% chance of dying instead of 10%.

Way cool! Given the state of New York and New Jersey drivers, expect the populations of those states to be significantly reduced in short order.

Let me guess, it’s powered by Cold Fusion, which will also be available in 2 years?

For example, the hourlong train ride from JFK to downtown Manhattan is expected to be cut down to just 7 minutes while being emissions-free.
Electric anything is not "emissions-free." Electricity must be generated and even the so-called "carbon-free" means of the generation must be themselves constructed, installed and maintained, a carbon intensive operation all up & down the line.

Air laws are wild. Jetson One single-passenger aircraft you don’t need a pilot’s license because it’s classified as an ultralight plane (=manned drone, more or less).
