19 cities will soon get Buc-ee's - does your area make the list?

For most drivers, gas stations are a necessary evil. For fans of Buc-ee's, they are a destination - and now the beaver-branded giant is about to pop up in more states than ever before.

By the end of 2026, the 'Disneyland of gas stations' will open four more of its iconic outposts, with another 15 planned in the years that follow. Scroll down to see the full list.

There are a couple of Love’s on the routes we use often, and we usually only stop for gas.

There will be a Buc-ee’s coming in April on a route we travel frequently, so I’m sure we will test it out once it’s opened. It’s always nice to have a clean bathroom to be able to use on the road.

I’ve “never had a fuel-related problem or ever needed an injector cleaning or additive” in my life, although I never knowingly use a “Top Tier Gas compliant” station. Around here, they charge about 20 cents more per gallon.

Oh, okay. Thanks.
It’s one of those odd names that has been fully accepted as is. Similar to “Ruth’s Chris Steak House”. That’s a lot
of ‘S’s, but it doesn’t seem to matter. Still popular.
Sean Hannity used to rave about that restaurant on the radio.

“ Good point! We found out they don’t allow water refills, at least free ones”

If you pay they allow?

Refills are gross. I don’t want to see some guy’s used coffee cup getting a refill behind the Starbucks counter

Ugh!

“””Since going with Top Tier Gas, over a decade ago, we’ve never had a fuel-related problem or ever needed an injector cleaning or additive.

It’s a no-brainer to stay with Top Tier Gas.””””””

I can’t recall having a fuel related problem and I buy gas wherever I happen to be.

As a kid, my parents used to always stop at Stuck-ees (I know how it’s spelled) when traveling. I never understood the big deal when that wasn’t the destination.

They opened one in Virginia last year, and I think two more are coming.

I hear they don’t allow semi-trucks, that alone is a major plus as you are not exposed to foreign truckers taking a bath in the sink, and you don’t have to look at piss jugs littering the parking lot.

There are a lot of smaller gas / convenience stores on the lesser highways around here. Many small manufacturers here, so the state and US routes get used a lot. The Love’s is on the main bypass that feeds to the interstate. Not sure a Buccees would fit!

Yes - was already some miles down the road. The jerky was decent though.

I wonder if there have to be sewer modifications around the small towns they are in.

When I was a kid we stopped once at a Stuckey’s while on a family road trip. The food wasn’t very good and after that, any road trip my dad would exit the highway and we’d find a mom and pop diner off the beaten path to eat.

they hire water police ... they pay someone to follow you around to make sure you don’t fill up your water bottle, even when you’re buying other stuff ... I never saw anything so absurd ... F ‘em ...

Some locations do that. Some don't.

Stopped at one in Indiana years ago. The only thing I remember is how horrible the service was.

The founder ... a Texan (nick-named Beaver), formed the name Buc-ee’s by combining his childhood nickname and the name of his dog Buck.

Why are you bringing an empty water bottle into a place that sells water in bottles?

When I was living in my truck during winter in Minnesota I would get the quick stop clerk to fill my canteen with hot water to keep my beer in the ice chest from freezing.
