Carter was a graduate of the US Naval Academy and a submarine officer. In his own way he was a patriot. You’d never see him participating in an Antifa riot.
But he was way, way out of his league as president. Naive and self-righteous he was. Better for the country had he remained a peanut farmer and Sunday school teacher.

I’m a vet but I know not all vets have the best intentions and he favored liberal policies and he weakened the military he served. Some vets let their politics overrule their constitutional responsibilities.
