In the corporate world, I noticed a definite change around the mid to late 2000s. For the first time in my career, we would interview entry level candidates in their mid-20s with top academic credentials from top graduate schools … who had never been employed at any time in their lives. These were the employees who had the most difficult time getting acclimated to a work environment.
For the life of me, I can’t imagine how someone can reach the age of 25 without ever holding a job.
