Well, I take it back about being his last play.
The upside of a pick-six is that you immediately get the ball back!
Nope, they took him out, he’s done.
And I reverse myself again - Rodgers is sitting out the game-closing series.
If I was him, I’d go for some hail-may tries, just for old time’s sake.
When the Ravens kid missed that kick and the game went to the Steelers I said good because neither of those teams will beat Houston.
Stroud needs to clean some things up, but regardless the Texans won’t be an easy out for anyone.
Kind of amusing how the first round of playoff games trended from awesome/exciting to Sunday night (Patriots/Chargers) getting settled a bit earlier to — sorry Steeler fans, but a yawner capstone.
But boy howdy — I gotta say. Saturday and the two early games Sunday? Probably about as fun as I’ve seen a first round in quite some time.
Helps that I’m a Bears fan - and was up in Wisconsin over the weekend at a friends so watched the game as a minority... I spent the first half mostly making myself and the missus old-fashioned... and scarfing brats (Wisconsin knows brats, I’ll give them that!).... The 4th quarter was a lot more... fun :-)
Asshole Steelers fans (is there any other kind?) could’ve at least stuck around to give Aaron Rodgers a standing ovation for a remarkable career.
It’s nice to sort of avenge that. Houstonians are *still* pissed off about that.
GO TEXANS!!

He played there for one season. I won’t be surprised if he signs a one-day contract to retire as a Packer.
Besides, Rodgers beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl in 2011.
From your lips to the football gods’ ears...
When it comes to the AFC - I don’t really care so much, but I’m a B1G10 guy so I’d like to see Stroud succeed. I was initially happy - or at least, entertained - to see Vrabel and Maye fly high... but like any non-Patriots fan? I do not like the idea of the Pats suddenly being *that* good again — but man, do they look tough.
Bears guy here - so of course, we gotta stay up and realize there’s another game.... I don’t have really high hopes to keep advancing - you can’t win in the playoffs with a porous defense that lives off turnovers because the good team simply don’t turn the ball over.
But - any given (Sunday), right?
That would mean his last throw in his NFL career was a pick-6.
I wasn’t even an Oilers fan and that pissed me off.
That would be great!
Brady’s last throw as a Patriot was a Pick-Six.
I guess class is lost on some people.
