Excellent point. But facts mean nothing to our oh-so-virtuous left.

Meanwhile, in China:

“One product of their efforts was what we call the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA), enacted in July 2019. The point of the CLCPA was to have New York State rescue the climate and save the planet, which supposedly was going to be accomplished by imposing mandates for eliminating hydrocarbon fuels from the energy system of this one little state. It seems that nobody had pointed out to the very earnest legislators that New York represents only a small fraction of 1% of world CO2 emissions, the total elimination of which would barely be noticed in the overall world carbon balance”.

For years I’ve pointed out that China is the dirtiest country in the world climate-wise and yet the left persists in supporting country with products made in China.

While all of you are correct, you have gone off topic, as the issue is CO₂, and you are discussing pollution.

Pollution is bad, but is CO₂ really detrimental that require drastic measures that need to be addressed?

China is a big polluter, but they are also contributing to CO₂ production as well.

Do not confuse pollution with CO₂ production because people need to understand that there is a big difference between the two. Intermixing the two, only tends to confuse people that they are somehow related.

CO₂ is produced naturally by the earth, which is an odorless non-toxis element that is benficial to this planet as it provides photosynthesis in plants which then produce oxygen by consuming the carbon.

Is the burning of fossil fuels truly producig too much CO₂?

Is it overwarming the atmosphere, or is it producing a better environment that will support more life.

I believe the latter is the truth, while the leftists are trying to throww humanity back into the dark ages for the masses, because they really do not like humanity at all.

I can only assume that they do so because misery loves company, and stupidity is easily swayed, because critical thinking is hard.

Thus, the reason why I am writing this. 😁👌
