In this kind of situation, I think the side that gets the injunction is supposed to have a fund that would pay all the associated costs if they end up losing the case/appeals.

That’s why Trump had to fork over so much money for Tish James’s lawfare. It was supposed to be in case he lost the case.

I’m not a lawyer, so maybe some lawyers can weigh in.

i think that is how the ACLU operates too- they use taxpayer money to launch myriad cort cases, then the loser has ot pay the court fees of the winner- or soemthing like that- since most of the cases result in the defendant not having hte money to continue the case- the defendant end up having to pay the court fees and drops out of the case if i remember right

i dont understand it lal- maybe i got facts mixed up- but here’s a law site explaining it
