ICE shoots Minneapolis protester who seemed to be trying to ram them, leftists try to create a new George Floyd

You would think Minneapolis's leaders would do all they could to try to salvage their city's riot-prone image in the wake of the George Floyd debacle. But you'd be wrong.

Here's the latest idiocy coming out of what looks like a sad situation for a leftist woman lacking reasonable judgment around police operations, according to the New York Times:

A federal officer shot and killed a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis during an immigration enforcement operation Wednesday, as the Trump administration intensified a crackdown on illegal immigration. Details of the shooting remained unclear, with conflicting accounts from local and federal officials.

Tricia McLaughlin, a Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman, said in a statement that an agent had opened fire after a woman “weaponized her vehicle” in an attempt to kill federal officers. Mayor Jacob Frey called her account “bull----” in a news conference, describing the shooting instead as “an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying, getting killed.”

Well, no, it was not bee ess, and anyone looking at the videos on X can clearly see that it looked like a protester ramming ICE agents in the course of their duties, using her car as a weapon, and an agent or agents firing back through the windshield, which can only be done from the front. To any reasonable observer, that's self-defense, even as it led to an unfortunate ending for the leftist.

As I’ve posted numerous times Homeland Security said agents were trained to never approach a car from the front and that shooting the driver does NOT stop the car from moving forward. Basically commonsense something this particular agent lacked since this was the SECOND time he was clipped by a car that he was standing in front of. Unfortunately there is no cure for stupidity.

Let's wait and see what happens...I think that FBI will investigate this shooting and send the result to the US Attorney...FBI could recommend prosecution...But, the US Attorney would make the final determination....

DHS also would investigate this incident...To determine if this agent followed DHS policy or not...DHS could fire this agent if the agency concludes that he did not follow the policy...

At this time, my opinion is that shooting was justified...I will wait for further investigations however...Maybe the investigations would reveal something different?

There is much more video on Twitter, but still not the video of her initial blocking. There is a video on Twitter of what sounds like some folk sitting on the porch who may have caught the entire thing but only put up the video of the 'wife' sitting in the gutter after it happened, sayin, "She got out of that car." as if he had video'd that earlier portion. There's the video you need right there.

The 'wife' video'd the entire time and never put down her phone, she probably also has video of her instructing the woman to block ICE.

After it happened, she said on another video that they were "new" in town. Why were they "new" in town? Did the 'wife' move there specifically to get that woman killed?

And they lied to both sides of her family where they were. And the 'wife' confessed that she put her up to NO GOOD. Pun intended.

You know what always comes at the first of the year? Life insurance renewals.

That 'wife' should be interrogated from here to President's Day and her comms unmasked from the day she met the deceased.

The evidence points to the driver wanting to escape not wanting to intentionally kill the officer. Yes the driver behaved badly and should have listened to and obeyed the cops. But just because she didn’t it doesn’t give the right to the cop to fire 2 more shots at her after the car had passed and there was no further danger from it.

The 'wife' has already confessed on other video to having 'brought her down here' and 'put her up to it'.

And yet another video shows the 'wife' sitting on the gutter, and the narrator says, "She (the 'wife') got out of the car."

So for all we know, the 'wife' could have been directing her as to what to do. The 'wife' could be a paid protestor. When did the 'wife' get out of the SUV? The 'wife' could have previously tried to ram another officer. They both could have been issuing threats. There could have been a weapon. For damn sure the driver is guilty of a Federal crime and should be charged post-humorously. LOFL.

And most importantly, neither one of these f/6ckwits had to be there.

I agree with that. Pulling a gun will not stop a car from hitting you, and you're better off concentrating on getting out of the way. BUT: The road was icy. You can see other agents slipping. He did not have much traction to get himself out of the way at that point. The first shot may have gone off when he was propelled backwards. Sort of like Vince in Pulp Fiction. Ooops, I shot Marvin in the face.

Either way, if he doesn't get hauled to court over this, he'll still have to live with having killed a mother-of-three, even if she was a nasty leftwing idiot. Some may shrug that off, others wont.

The front angle video does show him get a nasty bump when he leans forward to push on the hood (dumb!) and she accelerates, in any case. The gun must have already been in his hand then. It happens so quickly from there that he had no time to draw and aim. Image quality is on par with the Zapruder film though 😁
