The grieving wife of a woman shot dead by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Minnesota broke down in tears and blamed herself for the tragedy.
Harrowing footage from the scene showed the unidentified woman in tears over the shooting death of 37-year-old poet Renee Nicole Good, as she admitted encouraging Good to confront agents.
'I made her come down here, it’s my fault,' she could be heard saying at one point, through tears. 'They just shot my wife.'
Witnesses have claimed Good and her wife were acting as legal observers and filming the protest when she was shot three times in the face at a protest in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
But Good's mother, Donna Ganger, has denied reports that her daughter would have been 'part of anything like' the protests against ICE that were taking place at the location where she was killed.
'That's so stupid,' she told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. 'Renee was one of the kindest people I've ever known.
'She was extremely compassionate. She's taken care of people all her life. She was loving, forgiving and affectionate. She was an amazing human being.'
The distraught mother added that her daughter 'was probably terrified.'
The footage emerged amid tense rhetoric surrounding who was to blame for the woman's death as public officials remained fiercely divided.

Will this work for them like the Kent State Shooting Photo?
Dramatic photo of a crying woman over the body of the one killed by the National Guard?
I am sure that is what they want, but I don’t believe we have the same kind of media manipulation power today that we had in the late 60’s.
Wife of the women, that sums it up right there.
“That was amazingly ignorant. Just going to rely on the old gofundme.”
Ignorant or was that the plan all along?
“But Good’s mother, Donna Ganger, has denied reports that her daughter would have been ‘part of anything like’ the protests against ICE that were taking place at the location where she was killed.”
I think we can safely assume that both of these women (with different last names, by the way) went to college.
Echo chamber group therapy seems to be the new psychotherapy going on among white middle aged women. When they become senior citizens, they at least sit in folding chairs and hold a sign.
“FAFO”
More like “Mess Around and Find Out”, in this case.
She was under arrest and refusing to cooperate. Their job it to perform the arrest. He was not in danger until she acted to resist arrest.
He did attempt to get out of the way, but he also fired his weapon with great success.
“Mentally ill women are at the center of America’s problems.”
The Founders knew it, but we let the Industrialists pass the 19th Amendment (to increase the labor pool, to drive down wages). At least in Russia the Industrialists who try to get ‘cute’ (as in getting involved in politics) seem to find their way to high-rise windows and are thus prevented from destroying the country.
Yesterday she was saying the deader was just driving by and decided to take video of the operation.
You never know what's a lie and what's the truth with these people.
Why was the wife not also in the vehicle with her wife?
Because she was directly behind the car filming the confrontation between Good and the ICE officers with her cell phone probably hoping to get a good social media video of their car blocking the ICE vehicles for the event.
She knew things were spinning out of control when Good began moving the vehicle
I’ll take the words of these women at face value. Not that they are correct, but that they are sincere. Parents do not always know what their children are up to.
Many of us have had a comfortable sense of things, then reality intrudes. It could be that there is a school test on Monday and you are way behind in your reading. It could be the realization that your school days are coming to a close and you must prepare to make a living. It could be the realization that you will (or have been) let go from your job. It could be a tense situation with police.
If you have a tense situation with police, the number one rule is to visibly cooperate. Put your car in Park. Put your hands on the wheel. Respond politely to questions and requests/orders. Stay in the car when they tell you. Get out of the car when they tell you.
The woman’s wife is probably correct when she said she pushed her wife into a conflict zone. I’ll accept that. The mother is probably right that her daughter is compassionate.
What is apparent is that the “37-year-old poet” Renee Nicole Good found reality intruding into her life. She made numerous mistakes, which had tragic consequences.
At the urging of her wife, she entered a conflict zone. For some reason, she was singled out for attention. While other cars were in park, her car was at an angle as though she was preparing to leave. When told repeatedly to get out of the car, she tried to drive away forcing an officer to jump aside to avoid being run over. These are the mistakes that I’m aware of. There may be others.
Here’s a tip:
If you’re going to act as a “legal observer,” don’t break multiple laws while doing so.
It looks like we’ve discovered a new species, Dr Livingstone! The rare White Dindu, who usually travels in a protective shell with wheels, often in pairs... usually on roads provided by non-Dindus...
Just prior to the 2024 election, Mark Halperin (former guest on Morning Joe, later accused of harassment and removed, who now has his own web-based shows) said if Trump won, he thought the country would experience the greatest mental health crisis we’ve seen due to TDS. He wasn’t wrong. He’s definitely no Trump supporter, but in watching some of his news interviews since the election, he seems to be a straight shooter.
Yeah, that didn't take long, did it?
2 women....lesbians.
If I remember correctly, Kristi Noem said at her press conference yesterday that the ICE officers were returning to HQ and there was no active operation underway. The officers somehow managed to get stuck in icy conditions and the duo decided to harass them.
"Legal" observers does not mean they can break the law multiple times. Perhaps they should be better trained not to block streets and to obey the commands of law enforcement and to not use a deadly weapon to assault law enforcement.
