Rodriguez looks like trouble. I'd much rather see Machado in charge.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_in_Venezuela

. Since Hugo Chávez took power in 1999, tension has existed between the government and Jewish population, which has seen large numbers emigrating.[1] Today, the majority of Venezuelan Jews live in Israel, while modern-day Venezuela continues to host a modest Jewish population.

Wasn’t Zionist Undertones big in the Progressive Rock scene in the 70s?

I think I remember their album. “Is Real”

JDCA executive director Halie Soifer has served as national security advisor for Kamala Harris and has a background with the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), a think tank representing the foreign policy establishment with the usual funding (Carnegie, Rockefellers, Soros, Morningstar, Ploughshares, etc.).

The Jewish Democratic Council of America condemned Trump’s actions and attempts to “create regime change” in a statement on Saturday.

“For the overwhelming majority of Jewish American voters, maintaining our democracy is the number one policy priority,” said the group. “The American people do not want — nor did they vote for — unauthorized war with Venezuela, especially not one that circumvents the U.S. Constitution.”
——————
I simply cannot stand these people. They do not speak for all Jews, especially me, not even close. Yes, there are the deluded, hush naïve, anti-western Jews that this country seems to specialize in producing, but there are a lot of us that aren’t brain damaged like these people are. Perhaps they should reflect upon the fact that they are free to say whatever they want, and not even their archer villain, Donald Trump, even threatens to arrest them. Oh, and by the way, we are not a democracy, we are a constitutional republic. I absolutely despite these people, who are pretty much 100% wrong on any issue, you can shake a stick at.

By the way, this was not a war against Venezuela. It was the successful capture of an indicted criminal who happen to be living in the Venezuelan presidential palace. But no nation, other than the usual suspects of China, Russia, Iran, Cuba and North Korea, viewed Maduro as being the actual president of Venezuela. He very clearly cheated in the last election, and that is why the entire civilized world actively stated that he was not the president of Venezuela. Thus, we were not acting in a warlike manner toward Venezuela itself, we have been attacking drug and terrorist cartels in and around Venezuela, which were directed from Venezuela at least in part by Maduro, and then we captured Maduro himself. That’s not a war, that’s an action to stop a criminal enterprise by seizing one of its top leaders and bringing him to justice.

Netanyahu came and met with Trump a day or two before the attack. Same as he did before Iran.

This is not over. It is only beginning. Maduro’s generals still control the country. This is why we can’t just put the “duly elected” Gonzalez and Machado in the palace, while Maduro’s people still have all the guns. This is going to be a process.

We still have a blockade, we still have them blocked from shipping drugs and oil. I am sure there are conversations going on we aren’t hearing about. Plus if that $50 million was paid out the recipients need to talk tough to preserve any deniability.

I am hoping and believing that they had a plan for the day after.

A side note, Trump has effectively cut off the oil to Cuba, which is teetering on the edge of complete collapse.

If 'Zionist devils' doesn't stick to the wall, try 'racist gringos'. If that doesn't stick to the wall, try 'poor hating capitalists'. If that doesn't stick to the wall ....

The sad thing is that there are (legal) Americans who defend the Maduro's of this world. The dem party and dem corporate media are indeed sick !!!

This scripture sums up far too many lost Americans: "Isaiah 5:20 states, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter." This verse warns against the moral confusion of labeling wrong as right and vice versa.

Venezuela’s acting leader says ‘Zionist undertones’ marked US capture of Maduro

Perhaps President Trump can have a stenciled Star Of David applied to all Hellfire missiles so Delcy Rodriguez can feel better when he leaves office.

Trump is letting her "play" a part just for appearances' sake.

Trump said yesterday, "We will run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition." And, "We can't take a chance that someone else takes over Venezuela who doesn't have the interests of Venezuelans in mind." Source

.......Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.......

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simón_Bolívar

......[Simon] Bolívar is the preeminent symbol of Latin America and the focus of what could seem almost unrivaled posthumous attention, seen from his own times forward as a force now for liberalism or other forms of modernity, now for old regime values and authoritarianism, now for a mix of the two, with the debate over the meaning of his figure having no end in sight.
Robert T. Conn, Bolívar’s Afterlife in the Americas........

.... In the English-speaking world, Bolívar is known as Latin America’s George Washington.....

Bolivar is an ambiguous figure. But the Venezuelan dictatorship is by no means his legitimate successor!

The Veep is a rabid commie. Also DEI. Yes, she will be worse. But, the cartels/generals in charge will grab an opportunity to shift gears. She will lose.
