I’ve driven by the Clinton Library on numerous occasions, there doesn’t seem to be many visitors.
I have been to the Reagan Library a few times, the place is packed with people from open to close. I asked one of the people who worked there about the crowds, he said that they are always crowded every day that they are open.

This expansion should not be paid for by US taxpayers.

The federal presidential library system administered by the National Archives and Records Administration.

NARA funds the core annual operating costs — including staff salaries for archivists and federal employees, maintenance of archival collections, preservation of presidential records, and basic facility operations — through congressional appropriations (i.e., taxpayer dollars). This aligns with all post-Hoover presidential libraries.

I hear the Hillary wing has an incinerator that will be used to heat the building and there are plans for an art installation involving hammers and cell phones. You can bring your own personal paperwork and electronic devices there for a “hands on” experience. There’s also the, “Friends Travel Agency”. There are worries however, that inventory from the rest of the library may end up missing when the Hillary wing is completed. Time will tell.
