This Florida deep freeze is really putting me through the wringer, so rare it requires all sorts of unplanned preparations. Plumbing is my #1 concern; some plants may well be lost. Too old to do very much. sigh
The Florida citrus industry is used to this - but these freezes do a lot of damage! When I was a teenager Orange County was almost totally citrus, same with Lake County. Now a citrus grove is rare to find; they all moved south 50+ miles --- global warming! 😉

As to this imminent invasion of scurrilous frigid Yankee air, I won't worry about it until the forecast is for more flakes of snow than we get from the Mayor's dandruff.

This Florida deep freeze is really putting me through the wringer...It's not going to freeze here on the beach thank goodness, but I threw a pillow case of each of my baby mangoes just in case. The wind is blowing a light gale and the gulf is absolutely kicking. Water is warmer than the air and some of the younguns were out in the chop earlier. I'm no longer allowed to do that.
