That would be an acceptable alternative, I suppose. But that doesn’t fit the “infiltrate with the purpose of complete destruction.”
DAR already has HODAR (Husband of a Daughter of the American Revolution). There is also SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) and The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution for “Any boy or girl under the age of twenty-two is eligible for membership... who is lineally descended from a man or woman...”
The DAR top-dogs are stuck on and determined that a trans-whatever IS a woman - not due to XX but because he dresses like a woman, lives as a woman, and has had his birth certificate amended to change his sex at birth from male to female. Oh, and DAR is “inclusive” doncha know.
What ticks me off is that the DAR top-dogs have been withholding information, stifling discussion, and refusing to allow us peon daughters to be heard by the assembly. Yeah, we held votes on the rewritten bylaws but the wording, IMHO, is confusing on purpose. I’ve questioned the wording and was told that if we don’t accept national’s bylaws then x, y, z could/might happen, and we don’t want that...
My aunt was a big wig in the DAR in a county of the Southern Tier of NYS. That was back in the ‘50s and ‘60s. I have all her paperwork, and Sis and I could use that to join, but we never have.
I was going to start the process with the local chapter here, but the woman were ultra snooty. 🙄😁 I was done.
