Lehrer was a very funny guy. Indeed but his main gig was as a mathematician at Harvard University. When his act became big, Harvard gave him an ultimatum - drop the comedy or find another job. He became a very bitter man who suffered from Reagan Derangement Syndrome and Bush Derangement Syndrome. I guess Trump Derangement Syndrome finally killed him.
