No. Take a look at any Big Tech product from the last 8 years or so.
"Innovative"? No.
"Must have features"? No.
"Unexpected delight"? No.
"Buggy"? Yes.
"Poor support"? Yes.
This is exactly what happens when you have takeover by an untalented and rude ethnic group.
And now many engineering teams here in the Silicon Valley are 100% Indian. Not 25%, not 50%, but outright "nobody but Indians". And that doesn't happen without outright bias.
They won’t hire incompetence but they will hire “good enough” if it saves them money (and with h1b visas gives them unquestionably loyalty).
If their business eventually collapses under the weight of screws up ? Oh well they made their money already .
What you two fail to realize - perhaps you’re just naive, perhaps not - is that many foreigners view corporations
not as:
“organizations to get certain things done profitably”
but rather:
“organizations to help bring in more of my countrymen and tribe into the US”
The same holds true of US schools. Some engineering and CS departments are nothing but conduits for immigration.
And as to profits? Well, they figure they can just overwork people to make up for lack of skill.
I’ve seen this first-hand.
Wise up. It’s killing Americans. Like me, specifically.
