Thankfully, can’t get much healthier than my diet and supplements.
I even add raw sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds to my cooking.
Biggest issue I’ve had recently, is that my blood pressure has been really low (yesterday, it was 92/54), and I made the mistake on Christmas day, to hike up a 5 mile hill (at least felt like 5 miles.. not really sure) to see some waterfalls here with a Japanese friend and her family. Had to stop several times, and when we finally got to the top, dark colors were bright, and bright colors were blindingly bright.. dizzy.. nauseous.
After a couple of bottles of water, and about a 30 minute sitdown rest, we made our way back down. I was mostly fine after that (but I am still feeling the muscle pain and stiffness that I expected from the excursion, lol... the “good pain”. It was all worth it to see my friends on Christmas day though).
The STRANGEST thing about my BP situation, is that I had stopped taking all of the high PB meds almost 2 months ago, and immediately noticed that my BP dropped straight down (After I stopped the BP meds).
Had a V.A. doc appt. yesterday, and he said that I did the right thing with the meds, and that he would discontinue them (thank God...).
Just told me to make sure not to become dehydrated.
So let me get this straight...your doctor canceled your prescription for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups?
