“The company said, “The number of vehicles recalled reflects our intensive strategy to quickly find and fix hardware and software issues and go the extra mile to help protect customers.”

Less models in their lineup and more overall design faults. Can you say “DEI”? I knew you could.
Those pennies per car saved in manufacturing are costing big bucks. Thats becoming more true with all manufacturers.
Theae computerized actuators and sensors are doing nothing for the car buying public.
When I was younger we used to say Ford stood for Found on Russian Dump...
A family member owned a Model T and ‘36 Ford.
I’d take either of those, especially that ‘36, over anything on a Ford lot now.
It's okay though - between more outsourcing and Didn't Earn It (DEI) hiring, they'll be better next year.
software error
All the more reason to get rid of it HAL miffed.
Thet need to name new cars If’s if it works today your okay.
Build Ford rough.
First on Race Day ?
Holy crap. I don’t think I will ever own a Ford ever again. It is not worth the risk.
LOVE MY 4 SPEED TRUCK
NO COMPUTER NEEDED AT ALL===OVER 348,000 MILES
The US auto industry will never learn. They have given up on the Sedan market to foreign manufacturers. They refuse to produce vehicles at fair market value. In other words they advertise a good product and sell you crap. Both management and unions agree on their scheme of ripping off customers with garbage products.
If buyers decide they don’t want SUVs and pickups any more the US companies are completely screwed.
Fixed Or Recalled Daily
A couple of years ago, I was without a car for 3 months, due to a Ford recall which effected several different models.
The company I work for builds custom trucks from the chassis up, so the word “recall” sets my teeth on edge.
Sometimes it’s not catastrophic but failure could make a memorable impression on the customer and the company is trying to get ahead of that.
I understood recalls were good to familiarize oneself with the new 2026 FORD lineup.
:)
Planned obsolescence.
I watched a video from England about washers and dryers and the repair guy who made the video said this brand had a counter for the number of cycles and when it got to a certain number then the washer or dryer would fail.
Inkjet prints same thing for number of prints etc
Cars and trucks are no different.
