My heart is with you.
I’m alone tonight since my grown son who lives with me is sick in bed. My husband passed away about 3 years ago and tonight as I was listening to the songs we used to have so much fun listening to together I got kinda weepy. My two daughters are coming tomorrow so I’m busying myself with baking but things just aren’t the same without my husband.
Do you have children or grandchildren that you’ll get to talk to over the holidays?
We never had kids, so no children or grandchildren to visit.
Siblings all live out of town. I’ll have a meal with my mom at her nursing home, we’ll have each other for the afternoon.
Wife and I had 50 years together, first time alone is tough.
Have a good family get together! Sorry about your husband, did it ever get less painful?
