I block all the Leftist influencers and pod casters, but I keep the posts of Congressional democrats like Sanders, Warren, AOC, Swalwell, etc. because I LOVE talking back to them and showing them how pathetic their lies and nonsense is.
They’re so stupid and it is easy to prove on X.
The same thing happened to me. Make sure “following” on the top of the page is clicked.
Exactly, it clears us the problem quite quickly.
That said, it does make you wonder, considering the things you click/like, why they show up in the first place.
Heck, there are a bunch of Leftists showing up on FR. No where is safe.

Always leave some poison comment first. If some jerk wants to review the comment thread make sure there is at least one conflicting (truthful) comment there.

Yes. Terrible. I’ve blocked, blocked, blocked. Also hit the upper right three dots and say “This content is not for me.” That helps, but I still get way too many dicknipples.
Almost 100%. It’s sickening. They’re trying to spark outrage and drive up content.
I blocked about 100 in a day and then the next day there were significantly more. If I keep going at this pace, I’m going to block all of the BlueSky idiots.
I blocked a bunch of leftists and communists (I know, same thing) and then suddenly I started getting Gavin Newscum about 3-4 times a week. It wasn’t until I really started going after him hard, using foul language and literally posting pictures with him and the most foul things I could come up with that suddenly he disappeared. I still see him in the for you timeline, but don’t get notified on my phone. The phone notifications, since the beginning of 2025 have been about 99% leftists and scum.
I think X is trying to get people out of their silo for diversity of opinion, but instead it is giving a different silo, so it is like old Left-enforced Twitter.

Never joined Twitter or X. Tried Parler, Gab, Gettr, then Truth Social. Got rid of them all. Never did Facebook or any of the other crap out there.
X has been cluttered with ads and disruptors. Not to mention large amounts of porn.
I did that too at first, but blocking did nothing. It’s like trying to use a spoon to empty the ocean. When I clicked “following” on top of the page, that fixed it because now I only see accounts that I am following.
But before I figured it out, it was really depressing. I had no idea how much hatred there really is out there, how much Trump, conservatives, White people, etc. are utterly loathed and despised by so many people. I have lost hope of this country ever coming together again.
Somebody on FR recently posted a thread complaining about ads on X. I hadn't even realized there were any. All the more reason to be glad I never joined. I hate ads, and pay extra on those streaming channels that charge a few bucks more so I don't have to be bothered with them. I'm 78, and time is precious to me. I also use AdBlocker Plus online, and if a news site tells me I need to turn it off to access their article, I shut the window out, and can usually find the same story on a site that doesn't require me to shut it off. When you get old, you don't want to be inconvenienced with BS like that, and I refuse to conform to their requirements.
