00:21 / 00:49 A suspect in the Brown University shooting that left two students dead and nine others wounded has been identified and a warrant is out for his arrest after an ineffectual six-day manhunt, sources tell The Post.
The perpetrator, whom authorities have not publicly named, managed to elude authorities for nearly a week after he opened fire inside a classroom and then escaped into the surrounding streets of Providence, Rhode Island, on Saturday.
Multiple grainy surveillance images of the possible suspect were released by authorities amid the frenzied search, but details were slow in coming even after several light-on-info press conferences.
Investigators are probing potential ties between the school shooting and the slaying of Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Nuno Lourerio two days later, sources told The Post. The elite colleges are less than 50 miles apart.

Sources tell NBC 10’s Dan Jaehnig that investigators made the connection between the Brown University shooting and the MIT professor’s killing through of an overdue rental car.
Depends on whether she knows Putin or not.

Not fair to be “back at square one” four days ago and pleading for the public to solve the case for them but then holding out crucial facts.
Witnesses right next to the bleeding victims SAW and HEARD the culprit. No cops said “Please stay here while we take your names and addresses so we can interview you on what you saw and heard today.” Like they even do at car accidents.
No sympathy when that little weasel police chief and the horse faced geek mayor and the face time hounds looking for fame are all humiliated.
They endangered lives of all the people around Brown U while they bumbled and stumbled around.
