“Chicago has lost it’s mind.”
Da Bears!
The Gary Bears. Change the wishbone C to a G.
I’m thinking ‘bears’ here and wondering why Illinois should feel urgent?

Another set of billionaires looking for taxpayer handouts.
I flew a couple of Bears charters. Virginia McCaskey would always come to say hi and chat for a while. What a truly lovable woman.
Once, while transiting the Ohare B gates, Ginny was sitting alone and waved to me. We sat and chatted for about 5 minutes. The fact that she remembered me by name was astonishing. It brightened up a typical gloomy Chicago day.

Oddly, unless the paper means to say that individual team members are independently researching a move to Indiana, this is bad grammar.
“Bears explores move.”
(As it was, it took me to the second half of the sentence to realize this wasn’t about wildlife returning to Indiana.)
I know this looks wrong, but we’re just so use to this error that we don’t see it. But ask yourselves, would you say that the United States of America are the greatest nation? If you say, “no, it is the greatest nation,” you see my point. If you say, “no, they comprise the greatest nation,” congratulations. You’re my kind of conservative.
Polar, brown, grizzly, black?
The Northwest Indiana Bears.
The Chicago Bears of Anaheim

โWhy are we going to Northwest Indiana again?โ
First decent team in 20 years sure brings some clarity and chutzpah, too.
Oh, c’mon, the article’s title is right out of the BabylonBee!!
Fake news. No way the Chicago Bears are moving to Indiana. It’s a lame attempt to put pressure on Arlington Heights, but I’m sure they see right through that.
We have had bears migrate into Iowa as well.
DNR says they come down from Minnesota .
I guess not a big deal if some come into Indiana .
The Bears are just looking for more Illinois taxpayer money to fund their good times, the Illinois politicians are seeking a bigger kickback to fund their good times and the Illinois taxpayers are going to get screwed, screwed good and hard because there is NO WAY the average Joe or Jane will be able to afford tix to a Bears game in a new stadium in or near Chicago...and we’ll be stuck paying for it for...well forever.
good idea
NY Giants
NY Jets
Wash Commanders
are all teams that play in a state that is not of their name
Philly
Cincinnati
St Louis
are teams that could play locally in a close adjacent state
I don’t think Indiana needs any more blood sucking sports teams.
I would love to see them move back to Decatur, IL.
Maybe the Cardinals can move back to Racine Street, Chicago.
