The Trump administration is quietly authorizing millions of dollars in refugee resettlement funding, including to organizations operating at the center of the illegal immigration crisis.

According to Federal Register notices published on September 22, 2025, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement intends to award nearly seven million dollars in replacement grants to two nonprofit organizations involved in refugee case management and integration services. One of those awards directs more than two and a half million dollars to a St. Paul based organization operating in Minnesota, the focal point of the Somali fraud investigations.

The second Federal Register notice issued the same day announces ORR’s intent to award up to $4,500,000 to Catholic Charities USA, one of the largest refugee resettlement and social service organizations in the country. The award is designated for intensive case management services under the Preferred Communities program and continues Catholic Charities’ longstanding role as a federal partner in refugee resettlement.

“Time to clean house.

Now.”

Yes, and whatever happened to DOGE? And to your point, cleaning out the waste, fraud and corruption is a massive job that should be a high priority, long term project.

Nobody is saying that it will be a proverbial ‘walk in the park’ to clean out the massive fraud and abuse in the Federal Government that has been growing for decades and such fraud and abuse was given steroids under Autopen Biden.

Is this Ultra-Orthodox Jewish group getting funds from the government for the work they do?

My list was of various church denominations and their NGOs getting funds from the Feds.

“non-profit” illegals re-settlers?
Non-governmental organizations (NGO): If they get money from government, doesn’t that make them government organizations?
I did not vote for this. If this is “winning”, I’ll skip the risk of jury duty and not vote next year.
>Vote for us, oh! The places we’ll go! Your gop, Don Trump

Venezuela?

I said that to point out that courts have been adjudicating disputes over government funding and the withholding of federal grants to challenge Trump’s executive prerogatives and authority. Haven’t you been paying attention?

The problem is that when Fraud related to appropriations is found, Congress must rescind the funding. That should have the very first thing that this Congress did after Jan 21, 2025. That has NOT happened. Federal fiscal year is July 1 - June 30, so until June 30, 2025 the US continues to run on 2024 wasteful appropriations and grants made by the bass-ackwards communist autopen FJB misadministration

Refugee Resettlement would make me ecstatic...IF it was to resettle them elsewhere OUT of the USA.

Why are the Baptists being left out? There’s a large Baptist Family charity organization and I can’t locate the name of it...years ago they sucked up funds to renovate a large building for families and it was used for other purposes - not families. Wish I would forget things like this as it’s irritating when I can’t put my finger on the name or articles - better not to have seen it at all - probably 5 years ago.

Two types of Presbyterians:

Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) - conservative, reform.
Presbyterian Church of USA (PCUSA) - pro women pastors, homosexual marriage, etc.

I am pretty sure it is only the PCUSA that supports illegal aliens.

It is unlikely the President would know about a specific Federal regulation.

What we need is for RFK Jr. to know about it—and start taking action against those in his organization responsible for it.

Normally regulations are signed by Assistant Secretaries (or those of similar ranks) in Federal agencies—and if they are asleep at the switch it is always possible they do not realize what they are signing.

Orthodox Jewish charities get tons of govt money. Why would this one be the exception?

My list was of various church denominations and their NGOs getting funds from the Feds.

You know this for a fact?

ALL religious charities are ELIGIBLE for govt funds. Why would ANY not take advantage of that?

Catholic Charities are knowingly and willingly tools of illegal immigration; they should get zero dollars from taxpayers and the U.S. government should have nothing to do with them. What they still do on their own dime is their own business but still illegal if facilitating illegal immigration.
