Buck Rogers in the 25th Century leading man Gil Gerard died at 82 at his Georgia home on Tuesday following a brief battle with cancer, his wife Janet said.

'Early this morning Gil - my soulmate - lost his fight with a rare and viciously aggressive form of cancer,' Janet said.

Janet continued, 'From the moment when we knew something was wrong to his death this morning was only days.'

Janet added: 'No matter how many years I got to spend with him it would have ever been enough. Hold the ones you have tightly and love them fiercely.'

Prior to his role on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Gerard portrayed Dr. Alan Stewart on a total of 303 episodes of The Doctors from 1973–1976.

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, according to a synopsis, saw 'the 20th century astronaut [emerge] out of 500 years of suspended animation into the 25th century to become Earth's greatest hero and to explore the unknown reaches of deep space.'

The Arkansas-born actor appeared in all 32 episodes of the series, which ran two seasons from 1979–1981, and was broadcast on NBC.

I liked the William Conrad narration better in the first season better.

Few people know this about Erin Grey, but she was quite chubby as a young girl. She lost a lot of weight by the time she reached 20 years. Her parents were nudist and were very active members of a nudist colony. There are photos out on the web of Grey and her family in the buff.

Your eyes are of God too so don’t get those cataracts removed.

Good grief people. God blesses some people with the brains to be doctors and medical researchers for a reason.

Are you keen to hurry that process along?

If so, here's a suggestion, published in June ...

Repeated COVID-19 Vaccination as a Poor Prognostic Factor in Pancreatic Cancer: A Retrospective, Single-Center Cohort Study

Note this info...

...The overall survival (OS) of PC patients was shortened in those vaccinated three times or more, and the total serum IgG4 levels increased with the number of vaccinations. Of note, OS was significantly shorter in the high IgG4 group, and Foxp3-positive cells in the tumor tissues were increased. Repeated vaccinations increased the spike-specific IgG4 levels, and a positive correlation was observed between spike-specific IgG4 and the total IgG4. Conclusions: These findings highlight repeated vaccination as a poor prognostic factor in PC patients and suggest that IgG4 is induced by repeated vaccination and may be associated with a poor prognosis in these patients...

Like your friend, that was similar to my friend. Early 80s. Extremely healthy and fit. Walked five miles a day minimum. Pickle ball every morning. Jabbed and boosted in 2020, although a strong conservative. 🤨

Got A-fib, then a couple procedures like ablation. Died during the night between 9/10 and 9/11/24. She had been keeping up her same routine and had walked and played pickle ball that day.

All according to the evildoers’ plan.

It took me a few minutes to remember that annoying robot

The actor inside the suit was Felix Silla, who also played Cousin Itt on The Addams Family. Twiki's voice was provided by Mel Blanc.

...that annoying robot

Worst part of the show. By that time everyone knew Mel Blanc's voice.

>> Your eyes are of God too so don’t get those cataracts removed.

Apples and oranges.

“First, do no harm” did not seem to be in the vocabulary or ethic of the mRNA vaccine mongers. And messing with genetics at the DNA level is evil.

Man, he played HARD. He should have died in a hot tub with Connie’s panties floating in it in the 80s. He had serious party and addiction problem. Got clean and lived at comicons. Nice guy.

I ain’t afraid of cancer. I had broccoli For lunch. Broccoli kills cancer. A lot of people don’t know that.

It’s not out yet. It’s true. You find out you got some cancer? Get yourself a bowl of broccoli. That’ll wipe it right out in a day or two.

Cauliflower too. Cauliflower kills the really big cancers. The ones you can see through clothing from across the street.

Broccoli kills the little ones. The ones that are slowly eating you away from inside, while your goofy half-educated doctor keeps telling you, “You’re doing fine, Jim.”

In fact, bring your doctor a bowl of broccoli. He’s probably got cancer too. Probably picked it up from you.

What I remember of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century is Commander Wilma Deering played by Erin Gray.
