Huzzah for noticing. Now if only our charter of government had some sort of provision for elected officials to repeal bad laws.
Such a charter does exist. Unfortunately, the votes in both the House and Senate in adequate numbers for repeal have not previously existed in the recent past.
At present, we are learning if there are adequate votes available at present to restore the law that is coming to a close
