I remember your harrowing posts from the Virginia Tech attack. It was frightening enough just waiting for each update you bravely shared the event in real time.
I don’t recall the other shooting.
I was right next to the police station. We were fine. The shooting on the first day of school was scarier because it happened a few yards away (William Morva who still owes me $5).
The bravery came when we had to face the world when it came to Blacksburg afterwards. All our parking lots were full of news trucks.
