I think though eventually your laptop will have the LLM embedded on a chip, it will be firmware that will be updated twice a year. So data centers won’t be doing nearly the processing they are projecting now.

I think though eventually your laptop will have the LLM embedded on a chip I would think that a LLM on a chip would make sense, but it would almost have to be a separate special design CPU to run on. Otherwise it would probably consume all you processing capability when you are using it.
I think it will need its own cache memory as well. Might as well give it a separate mother board.
