All they had to do was stop hating Israel. They came to kill, to rape, to maim, and to take captives. They sowed the wind and the reaped the whirlwind.

This is just the beginning.

As for the situation in the ground,
It’s called the consequences of launching mass-murder attacks on your neighbors. We CELEBRATE V-E and V-J day.
Our media was full
Of adoration for our defeat of the Axis powers —- abd yes, we bombed the H3ll out of memory German cities — far beyond any direct military necessity—- and of course we nuked two major Japanese cities right down to the burning ground. And threatened to do the same to Tokyo.

The IDF gave advance warnings for any “innocent people” to move to designated safe areas, areas protected by the defense forces. USA did not generally do this in any of our wars. Israel donated and trucked in thousands of tonnes of free food and civilian commodities to the enemy population. USA never did this during hostilities (and the Marshall plan didn’t happen until after Germany surrendered).

It is at least a double- standard, basically not honest or fair to criticize IDF —- and at least some of the (mostly communist or neoNazi or “progressive”) critics reveal a strong antisemitism. Like it or not, it is consistent with their political philosophy.

A few of the critics are “decent people seeking goodness and kindness” who, regrettably, very selectively react to some pictures — without regard to their context or history.

Apologies for not knowing how to post pictures here but — please

All they had to do was release the hostages. They refused and Israel would not stop before the hostages were returned.

In the 80s, while in the military, I had a T-shirt with a mushroom cloud on it and “Don’t start a war if you can’t take the ending!” written on it.
