The Mars mission won’t pay back for a long long time, if it ever will. That’s why I think SpaceX is better as a private company.

The payback will be incremental, along the way. The Space Port at Boca Chica, Texas will produce things we can not presently envision while preparing for the mission to Mars.

The presence of AI projected from Space Port satellites will enhance the capability of FSD Teslas by providing unthinkable capability. And that is merely one meager example. Tesla also makes Optimus robots that can be connected to the AI satellites projected from the Texas Space Port
