Since when do you parachute (for sport) from a JET?

It is done. I have jumped a 727 (DB Cooper style) at sporting events, and in the military I jumped a variety of 'jets'.

As for this article, a Cessna 208B is a turboprop, a type of turbine engine but not a pure jet or even a turbo-fan like most commercial carriers.

And speed on jump run is typically about 90 mph, so calling that a 'speeding jet' is a bit of an exaggeration.

Clapping madly. Totally impressed! I won’t even get on an airplane and you’re willing to jump out of one. Terrifying but wow! gutsy!
