Zero points for me.

Anyone remember the AAA TripTik, with bound foldout maps and the highlighted route marked on the map with little arrow stickers to show you were to turn?

Don't remember that. Dad planned all of our cross-country car trips in the 50s and 60s. We lived in upstate NY and did a bi-annual pilgrimage to visit relatives in Valparaiso, Indiana; Chicago; Potlatch, Idaho; Albuquerque, NM; and Fort Worth, TX. We hit all the great sights along the way - Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, Snake River Canyon, Cody, WY, Craters of the Moon, North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Chain hotel reservation systems were just getting started. We stayed at Holiday Inn's and Best Westerns because they had reservation systems. You had to be at one to make a reservation for the next one.

Remember AAA TripTik?

They're still available in print format.
