At the link there is a picture of the buried wreck of a ship in the sand that has a smoke stack. I didn’t know that they had oil burning ships in the 16th-century.

I think That’s actually a picture of a Russian ship in what used to be the Aral Sea, but is now a desert due to Soviet mismanagement of natural resources......................
