What is the makeup of District 7? Urban? Rural? it is supposedly a Republican district.
I looks like a mix. The west part of Nashville, and then west of that looks rural. But at that point you’re getting closer to dreadful Memphis.

The district is the Tennessee River Valley between Kentucky and Alabama, touching on the western and southwestern suburbs of Nashville. Nominally a red district but yellow dog democrat area in history.
The issue is Trump fatigue. Democrats are motivated to fight Trump and honestly many 2024 Trump voters are turned off by his bombast. The election will be decided by turnout or lack of it by Trump voters.
Super rural. A small part of the 5th was put into the 7th when we redrew the 5th. That part is somewhat urban with pockets of old Nashville.
It covers all or part of 14 counties.
