I’ve decided..... I’m getting 10 or so chickens this coming spring.

Been collecting tractor supply gift cards the last year.

Getting a coop, fencing in an area up against my garden fence and going to give it a go.

My young dog chases birds so I’m worried about her trying to kill the chickens Sonim getting the biggest birds I like and going to try and keep em apart.

We’ll see how it goes

Predators are an issue for us with our chickens, too. I’d like them to be able to go outdoors, but with the number of dogs and puppies usually running around, not to mention hawks, raccoon, coyote, eagles, our barn cats, etc., they are safer in a corner of the barn where Beau built their, ‘Luxury Accommodations Coop.’
