Re: Folic acid
Not looking at my prescription, but I was referred to a rheumatologist for joint pain issues in my wrist. So after lots of testing I was prescribed folic acid (because my levels were low - don’t know if that has anything to do with the wrist pain - she didn’t say) and hydroxychloroquine.
I guess I need to look at the specific type of folic acid I was given.
There are many foods with folic acid. Here are some. Hmm, didn’t know the difference between Folic Acid and Folate. I’ll post links. It’s very easy to eat foods with Folate/Folic acid and not have to use supplements.
