That's it! My friend Dennis L. worked at Hegwisch so maybe with your dad. ( I thought he was with US Steel but maybe not.)

I remember him saying that on his first day they were telling him that if any of the cranes were to spill he was to run and get behind something and not try to help anyone. There would be an explosion if the steel hit any water on the floor of the plant.
