I presume that you are referring to the 'pubbies. If memory serves, I think Rush used to say that the GOP doesn't really want to rule, they want to be the 'loyal opposition'. Whether that was true in the last half of the 20th century or not, NOW we face a 'political party' which is actually a radical revolutionary party, having stated their intent to take total control of the govt and impeach and prosecute their opponents.
They have stopped attempting to work out an accommodation on issues by sitting down for talks... they simply state 'our way or the highway' and send out their military arm to upset Constitutional order. The fight to restore normal order is not very encouraging.
It is certainly approaching the need for a military legal agency to restore normal order...
