I think that Mayorkas was culpable, but didn’t Mayorkas also act as something of a lightening rod while Xavier Becerra (Health and Human Services) provide funding and act to to move all the immigrants around behind the scenes? I seem to recall some discussion of that.
Oh yes, there are lots of guilty miscreants who should face the bar - but they wouldn't have had much to do if Mayorkas had not opened the flood gates and continually perjured himself.
Many 'guilty miscreants' could include the 'pubbies, who could have fought to make a fight of it - did they? They held hearings 🤷 ... good for fundraisers. If the roles were reversed, do you think the 'Rats would just hold hearings? Look how they are fighting to cancel the GOP gains by redistricting: they may well take back the House without even needing elections!. Isn't that the norm for the 'Rats❓
