IIRC Britain is something like 10% moslem today. And they *all* vote for the Maoist party currently in office. So we can be sure that there are plenty of goodies for the moslems in this budget.

It’s why I prefer our 2-party system, flaws and all.

Having only 34% but being the ‘majority party’, they get to run the government. Similarly, a party may have the ‘majority’ but becomes 2nd place to other parties that form a ‘coalition’ government.

So even if a right-wing party ‘wins’, the left can create a coalition with other parties and still take control. I believe this is what happened in France recently.

They need more money to fund the invaders.

And cheaper to get rid of jury trials for those that violate speech code complaining about them, along with mandating a digital-ID to control buying/selling/travel/health-care if you don’t comply.

It’s about to get very ugly.

No, they won’t.

Take a look at taxation in both countries.

It works out to be just as bad for people who pay income tax.

Western Europe doesn’t have any healthy economies.

I’ll bet every country in Western Europe is cooking its books.

And when that becomes clear...

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has delivered her Budget after the details were released early by mistake

Income tax thresholds will be frozen until April 2031 - a year longer than expected - meaning more people will pay higher rates

There will also be new taxes on homes worth more than £2m and £5m; a mileage charge for electric vehicles; tax on pension contributions above £2,000; and changes to Isa (IRA) rules

Meanwhile, the two-child cap on means-tested benefits will be lifted

Conservative leader Badenoch calls the Budget a “total humiliation” and says Reeves is hiking taxes to pay for welfare

Taxation is theft, of course

... Coercion is a serious business: it imposes an awesome responsibility on the authorities to ensure that the money that is raised through it is spent wisely and effectively on purposes that its citizens approve of. This is plainly not the case in modern Britain, and raises the question of whether there could be put in place some constitutional restraints upon it. Don’t hold your breath.
