I don't see the type of people who go to musicals in New York as traditional, patriotic Americans for the most part. Kristin Chenoweth is an American version of J.K. Rowling, who has received leftist scorn for her dissent despite a past track record of liberalism. She lacks the deep pockets of the British author, who is wealthy enough to tell the Left to bug off.
