I had a long discussion with a friend on this topic today.

He favored foreign and military aid to Israel.

I took the opposite view.

What was most amazing about the conversation is that there was zero name calling by either of us.

We did not even raise our voices.

The one depressing conclusion we shared was we could not figure out what the “end game” was in the Middle East—regardless of what US policy was.
